Coaching the Wolves
Do you want to get involved with the Wolves, but playing rugby isn't for you? Or are you a player who wants to do more for the Wolves on the pitch?
If so, Rugby Ontario is organising a rugby coaching course this March. As well as allowing you to have to joy of ordering everyone else to run around the pitch (I hear it's more fun than actually doing the running), this is also a great chance to help the Wolves. As we develop a women's side, we'll have more and more need for coaches, and so this is a great time to become a coach! There's a basic outline of the course here, so take a look. If you're interested, please email communications@ottawawolves.ca by Wednesday the 23rd of January.
Also, for any of you who enjoy working with Kids, Rugby Ontario is organising a course on teaching rugby as part of the High Five program. This course would focus on working with kids aged 6-12 and their parents in order to ensure all players have good experiences and learn and grow from playing rugby. For more information, High Five has a brief overview of the course here . Once again, if you're interested, please get back to me by Wednesday the 23rd of January at communications@ottawawolves.ca .
We look forward to hearing from you!
